Rrerana Academy presents, A Four month certificate course in 'Counselling children and Teenagers'.

The programme has been designed for a wide variety of people who wish to learn different ways of reaching out to children and teenagers, either for use in their work or for their own personal development. The purpose of this programme is to enable participants to apply counselling skills in order to support and empower children and teenagers to take charge of their life.

This training is offered in response to a growing demand from counsellors and other professionals dealing with children and is designed to complement the basic counselling course. For adolescents who are struggling with the transition to adulthood, special counselling skills and approaches are required, together with proactive and creative strategies. In addition to the counselling approaches, this program focuses on the integrated method of child counselling with significant reference to using narrative and imagery techniques and play therapy. Reappraisal of basic counselling skills and core knowledge will be covered.
